In-Depth Summary:

Edmond Roudnitska composed Femme during the Second World War, and Marcel Rochas gave the perfume to his wife Hélène as a wedding gift. A small private presentation appeared in 1944 before the public launch in 1945. Peach, plum, apricot and cinnamon lead into jasmine, rose and ylang-ylang, settling over oakmoss, woods, amber and vanilla in the plush fruity-chypre style that established Parfums Rochas after the war.

This offering is the empty 4.5-inch Femme perfume bottle shown, marked Lalique on the base.
