Refund policy

The item being purchased is vintage/discontinued and is not new

Quirky Finds sells both full and partial-unused and used vintage/discontinued items (i.e. perfumes, colognes, powders, etc)

Please thoroughly read the item description and have reviewed the photo(s)

For perfume/cologne bottles only - any bottle without a secure stopper will be decanted into a clean plastic/glass bottle for transit. You will receive the original bottle, the decanted bottle and a pipette to refill.  This is to secure that the fragrance does not leak during transit.  

Please review the terms of service and all policies.

Quirky Finds Return Policy

Because our items are vintage, rare, and often one-of-a-kind, we handle returns carefully to protect both our customers and our inventory. Please read the policy below before requesting a return.

1. Contact Us First

You must contact us within 2 days of delivery to request a return.

Please include your name, order number, and reason for the return.

Requests made after this window may not be eligible.


2. Photo Verification Required

Before a return can be approved, we require clear photos so we can verify condition.

Please provide:

  • The perfume bottle (front and back)

  • Close-up of the label

  • The box or original packaging (if included)

  • A clear photo showing the perfume fill level

This helps prevent damage disputes and ensures the item is still unused and in the same condition it was received.


3. Condition Requirements

To be eligible for a return:

  • Item must be unused

  • Bottle must not be opened or sprayed

  • Seals, labels, and packaging must be intact

  • Item must be returned in the same condition it arrived

Opened or used bottles cannot be returned under any circumstances.

Please remember:
Our items are vintage and previously owned. Some age-related wear is normal and described in the listing.


4. Shipping the Return

Once approved, the return must be shipped back within 5 days 

Customers are responsible for:

  • Return shipping cost

  • Proper packing

  • Insurance (recommended for fragile or high-value items)

We strongly recommend:

  • Using a sturdy box (no envelopes)

  • Bubble-wrapping the bottle securely

  • Padding on all sides

  • Using a trackable shipping service

We cannot issue refunds on items damaged during return transit.


5. Refunds

Once the return is received and inspected, we will notify you.

Approved returns will be issued as:

  • Refund to original payment method, or

  • Store credit, where appropriate

Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

Refunds may be reduced if the item is returned damaged, opened, or not as originally shipped.


6. Non-Returnable Items

The following cannot be returned:

  • Opened or sprayed perfume

  • Items marked “final sale”

  • Items damaged by improper handling or packing

  • Custom or special-order items

8. Order Cancellations

Orders cannot be canceled once shipped.
