Created by Michel Hy and Francis Camail and introduced in 1979, Ivoire takes its name from the French word for ivory. The idea began with the image of an elegant woman in pale silk at the opera, translated into a composition that moves from crisp aldehydes, galbanum, herbs and citrus into a lush floral and spice heart. Frankincense, sandalwood, patchouli, oakmoss, vetiver, amber, musk, tonka and vanilla give the perfume a warm, elegant finish.
This offering is the unused 3 1/2 fl. oz Ivoire Eau de Toilette tester and demonstration bottle. It contains the original formulation.
