In-Depth Summary:
Created by Edmond Roudnitska in 1951, Eau d’Hermès was inspired by the scent inside an Hermès handbag, where fine leather mingled with lingering perfume. Citrus, lavender, herbs and dry spices open into jasmine, geranium, vanilla and labdanum, while leather, birch, moss, woods, amber and resins create its distinctive warm finish. Originally sold selectively through Hermès boutiques, it became a discreet signature for both women and men.
This offering is the 6.5 fl. oz Eau d’Hermès bottle shown, 30% full and containing Edmond Roudnitska's original formulation.
