Albert Nipon debuted in 1983 through a collaboration between the designer’s company and Orlane USA, then part of Max Factor. Perfumer Mr. Fick shaped the fragrance to complement Nipon’s polished, ladylike fashion identity, creating a fresh mossy aldehydic chypre with citrus, florals, spices, resins, woods and moss. The sculpted bow motif gives the presentation a direct connection to the designer’s feminine tailoring. The original version appears to have left the market around 1988.
