Shalimar made its public debut in 1925 at Paris's International Exhibition of Decorative Arts. Jacques Guerlain balanced a brilliant bergamot opening with rose, jasmine, and an exceptionally rich vanilla-balsamic base, creating one of the defining oriental fragrances of the twentieth century. This offering is a Shalimar Perfume in the rare Avion bottle.
