Maurice Roucel created Tocade for Rochas in 1994, giving the house a playful new signature built around rose, vanilla and amber. Its name refers to a flirtation or passing fancy, and the finished perfume followed more than 600 trials. Orange blossom, freesia and bergamot open into rose, jasmine, magnolia, iris and vanilla, with benzoin, cedar, ambergris and musk adding warmth to the base.
