Animale made its debut at Bloomingdale's in 1987 with zebra-print models and a deliberately dramatic message. Created by Roure Bertrand, the floral chypre opens with bergamot, neroli, green notes and aromatic herbs. Rose, jasmine, ylang-ylang, carnation and honey fill the heart, while sandalwood, labdanum, oakmoss, patchouli and musk give the scent its deep, sensual finish. Parlux acquired the brand in 1990, placing this bottle within the next chapter of Animale's history.
