Introduced by Shulton in 1947, Desert Flower pairs aldehydes and bergamot with jasmine and ylang-ylang over cedar, patchouli, sandalwood, oakmoss, musk, vanilla, benzoin, orris and ambergris. The perfume received an especially imaginative debut when Shulton commissioned Salvador Dalí to create three paintings for its campaign.
