Gale and Fred Hayman created Giorgio for their celebrated boutique on Rodeo Drive, launching a bold floral that became one of the signature scents of the 1980s. Green notes, bergamot and orange blossom lead into rose, jasmine, orchid, carnation, tuberose and ylang-ylang, with sandalwood, cedar, moss, vanilla, amber and musk beneath. Its yellow-and-white presentation and magazine scent-strip campaign made Giorgio instantly recognizable far beyond Beverly Hills.
