Introduced in 1956, Primitif by Max Factor is a bold floral chypre whose French name evokes instinct and an untamed glamour. Aldehydes, citrus, peach, cassis and green notes open into gardenia, rose, jasmine, iris, violet, ylang-ylang, lily of the valley and clove. Oakmoss, patchouli, vetiver, woods, resins, ambergris, musk and animalic notes give the composition its deep, sensual finish.
This offering is the unused Primitif duet shown, with a 1.5 fl. oz Spray Mist Cologne and 2 oz Bath Powder containing the original formulation.
