Claude Fraysse created Zibeline for Weil at the beginning of the perfume house's story. Introduced in 1927, its name is French for sable and reflects Weil's origins in luxury furs. Aldehydes, citrus and herbs lead into iris, gardenia, jasmine, ylang-ylang, lily of the valley and rose, followed by honey, woods, amber, musk, civet and vetiver for the rich warmth that defined the original.
